until we leave on the Disney Magic for our Panama Canal trip....did some shopping this weekend for the trip...or at least that was the excuse that we used. John cleaned up with some pants....I know can you believe it he is going to wear pants...for those of you that know him understand how rare this is...for those of you that don't....he wears shorts pretty much 12 months out of the year...good thing we live in AZ. He also got some loafers to wear.....they are dressy enough for dinner but actually casual enough for him to wear with his "shorts" unless he goes to put on socks with them and I will just have to beat him......
Well getting my swaps done for Creative Escape...finished and mailed my paint can swap....I don't think that she reads my blog so here is a picture....I actually think that I like it....which for me is rare...I am way to critical of my stuff. Also started working on my Heidi Swapp Playing Cards....here is a picture but I have already changed them...
See what I mean...I sat here and looked at them and decided they needed a little something else so I put brads in the bottom corners and swirlys behind on the orange.....
Today I was lucky enough to spend the afternoon at the dentist...yippee....had to have a tooth extracted and two more fixed...still have one more to go....the tooth that was extracted was because it was cracked all the way through....the dentist can fix the other three that are cracked as well....guess instead of a grinder I am a clencher and I do this with such force that I crack my teeth....oh yay....this was not good news especially if you are one of the people who know how much money has been invested in my mouth....let's just say that I most likely could have a Corvette sitting in my driveway...well that may be a little bit of a stretch but you get the idea. So sitting here getting ready to take some more drugs...and I will most likely look like half a chipmunk tomorrow but we will be fitted with a mouth guard type thingy (techinical term) after they fix the one tooth that is left and then I hopefully won't have this problem any longer.
Later
Yea that is what we drove in the last 96 hours....up to Elk Grove, CA (Sacramento) and back again. We went to see my only niece graduate from 8th grade - of course, they call it a promotion but whatever. Here is a picture of the happy graduate with her family which is also my brother (Toby), sister-in-law (Mary), and my nephew Cy.
